Not really, but I’m wide open for ideas. I want a pet for Kevin, but he’s hardly ever home so that eliminates a dog. It’s not a contest, but I’d love to hear everyone’s ideas for a great pet for a single male. You just might find your great pet idea in my manuscript!

I think a dog is perfect, even those he’s a single, busy guy. Something spunky yet not too big, like Eddie on Frazier. Maybe he has a wacky neighbor who walks it for him during the day. I keep thinking about Tom Hanks in “You’ve Got Mail” and how his dog Brinkley gave him personality. A cat is too fussy, and anything else is boring…except a snake, which could be a possibility…a little creepy (bad pun), but a possibility…
